ZOMBIE BIO Guide: Survive the Raknos, Master the Chugshot, Beat the Clock
ZOMBIE BIO is a free 3D first-person shooter that runs in your browser. A moonbase has gone dark, 30 Raknos – tall, fast alien hunters – roam its corridors, and you have a plasma shotgun and one goal: reach the exit. It is the web remake of DARK BIO, the PC game Prasansoft released in 2014. This guide explains how the fights work and how to score big.
Controls
| Action | Keyboard and mouse | Phone |
|---|---|---|
| Move | W A S D | left thumb |
| Look / aim | mouse | drag the right side |
| Fire | left click (hold) | FIRE |
| Reload | R | RELOAD |
| Run | Shift | joystick all the way |

How the Raknos fight
A Raknos stands still until it sees you (or until you get very close). Then it roars – your warning – and sprints straight at you along the corridors, finding its way around walls and furniture. Once it is within arm's reach it slashes with its claws for 9 to 15 damage. You have 100 health, so a few slashes are enough to end a run.
- Walk backwards while you shoot. A Raknos has to reach you to hurt you; every step back buys another shot.
- Never fight two at once in the open. Pull back into a corridor so they come one after the other.
- Listen. A roar means one has seen you, even if it is still around the corner.

The Chugshot
The Chugshot is the original plasma shotgun from DARK BIO. Each shot fires nine pellets; you get six shots per load and a reload takes about two seconds.
- Close range is everything. Up close nearly every pellet hits; past about 12 metres the pellets spread out and do half damage.
- Aim high. Head hits do more than twice the damage, and a kill by a head shot scores 750 instead of 500.
- Reload in quiet moments. Press R after a fight, not when a Raknos is in your face.

Ammo and health
| Item | What it gives | How many |
|---|---|---|
| Green ammo box | +6 shells | 46 in the base |
| Health pack (red cross) | +50 health (max 100) | only 4 |
Ammo boxes sit near the store rooms and along the main corridors, so you rarely run dry if you pick them up as you go. Health packs are rare – grab one only when you are hurt, because a full-health pickup is wasted.

Reaching the exit
The green arrow at the top of the screen always points to the exit. The last room is guarded by heavy Raknos. You can clear it from the doorway – they come to you one by one – or, if your health is high, sprint (Shift) straight into the green ring of light.

Scoring for the world top 10
| Event | Points |
|---|---|
| Raknos killed | 500 |
| Raknos killed with a head shot | 750 |
| Reaching the exit | 5,000 |
| Time bonus | 10 per second under 10:00 |
| Health bonus | 20 per point of health left |
The best runs balance both: kill the Raknos that block your path (each one is worth more than 50 seconds of time bonus), keep your health high and head for the exit without exploring dead ends.
