Verdict
A demanding sequel that sharpens the formula. Our score: 9.0 out of 10.
Tips for the demanding combat
Learn the resource loop before the harder encounters. Chainsaw enemies for ammo, use glory kills for health and flame for armour, and rotate weapons to match each enemy. Movement is fast, so keep an eye on the lower-health indicator and use the dash to escape crowded fights. Practice in the early levels before reaching the most demanding arenas.
Upgrades and replay
Runes and upgrades change how each weapon behaves. Choosing upgrades that match your playstyle makes the late game more manageable. Replaying a level on a higher difficulty with different upgrades can reveal new tactics.
