Pac-Man Famicom review

1984 · Namco · Maze action · Updated 2026-10-22

8/10

Eat every dot, avoid the ghosts, and grab power pellets in the maze that started a worldwide phenomenon.

Pac-Man is built on a simple loop of eating dots and escaping ghosts. Each ghost has a distinct behaviour, which gives the maze a rhythm that is easy to learn and hard to master.

On the Famicom the game keeps the original charm. It is a perfect game for short sessions, and its pattern-based challenge rewards careful play.
