Castlevania III: Dracula's Curse Famicom review

1989 · Konami · Action platformer · Updated 2026-10-22

8/10

Trevor Belmont and friends explore a vast castle with multiple paths and endings.

Castlevania III introduces multiple characters, each with their own abilities. The game lets you choose routes through the castle, which adds replay value.

The difficulty remains high, but the variety of enemies and bosses keeps the game fresh. The music is among the best on the console.

It is a strong entry in the series with a clear sense of adventure.
